While doing research, I reread the description for Reactions. And realized everyone I have played with does it the same wrong way, that you get it back at the beginning of the round. You're supposed to get it back on your turn. If you use your Reaction in round 1, you don't get it back until you take your turn on round 2. Which means you can't react to someone with higher initiative. And, if you're going by the book and only rolling initiative once at the beginning of combat, in every even number round, you will be handicapped.
SO: Your Reaction resets at the beginning of each round.
