Description
Phroda is a typical minor colony world. The planet is unremarkable, generally summed up as "on the low side". Slightly small, with a thin standard atmosphere and moderate amounts of water, it is below average in many ways. Farming is possible, but the planet is not especially fertile, so production is above subsistence levels, but not enough to produce a large amount for export. There are a few mines on the surface, but nothing remarkable, which has kept the planet from being adversely affected. The system lacks an asteroid belt for mining and has a single small gas giant with a handful of uninteresting moons. There is a small starport outside the capital of Ventra with limited repair and refueling facilities.
Population is primarily human, but with very large Twi'lek, Rodian, and Sullustan groups, and a small enclave of Duros.
Phroda is ruled by a Council of locally important figures.
Organizations
System Patrol- Two IPV-1 System Patrol Vessels (non-hyperdrive capable).
Planetary Police- Planetary police that patrol large areas of dispersed settlements. They have a handful of old troop shuttles for rapid deployment and disaster relief, local patrols are generally by speeder, but the most remote areas may be reached by patrols mounted on Blurrgs.
Ventra City Police- The capital of Ventra has a small police force, which also provides fire and emergency services to the city.
System details
Phroda Prime is a G4 V yellow main sequence star. Its inner orbits are empty, no planets orbit between Phroda and its star. Out system from Phroda are Phroda II, a barren, rocky world (think of Mars) and Phroda III, a small, ice covered world with barely any atmosphere. Phroda IV is a good sized, dark blue gas giant with rings and a handful of small moons.
