Kasha

Kasha is a mining company's hellhole. The planet has little native life and the atmosphere was not breathable to begin with. What the planet does have are vast mineral deposits. With little native ecology to care about, the mining companies are free to use whatever polluting or damaging technologies they feel like in order to maximize profit. Strip mining areas scar the world; many are visible from orbit.
