Jaerlethket

Jaerlethket is Caeli's maternal grandfather, a silver dragon and the source of her draconic bloodline abilities. Shapeshifted as an elf, he had a relationship with an elven craftswoman, Caeriel Gaandren, and they had a daughter, Caeli's mother. Above and beyond his draconic arcane abilities, Jaerlethket spent years in elf or human form, learning magic. He is a 15th level wizard.
