Bracelet of Fate

The Bracelet of Fate is made from two bands of bright polished copper with six six sided dice mounted on their points holding the bands apart. Once per day, the wearer can choose to try to change fate (in game terms, reroll any single to hit roll, ability check or saving throw) but must accept the new result, for better or worse. When activated, time seems to stop for the wearer for a moment and each die spins on their axis.

Inspired by a magic item in Andre Norton's excellent Quag Keep novel, which is based on the Greyhawk campaign setting for the original D&D game.
