Bloodletter is a +2 Rapier of Wounding. The blade is black, with "Bloodletter" engraved into the flat of the blade on both sides in an unknown language and the pommel knob is a large bloodstone. It has a full basket hilt that looks like a skull. The first strike each round causes an additional 1d4 bleeding damage on every round at the start of the victim's turn, beginning on the round after the hit. Multiple wounds are cumulative, each additional qualifying wound causes another 1d4 damage. The bleeding continues until the victim receives magical healing. Creatures who do not bleed (i.e. undead, constructs, spirits) or are capable of regeneration are immune. Bleeding damage can cause a creature to fall unconscious (zero HP) and each round of bleeding thereafter is a failed Death Save. Claimed by Thorn.
